This announcement is our "Call for Papers." If you would like to present a paper or poster, please send an e-mail message to (childphon@yahoo.com) with the following information:

1. The authors' names in the order in which you would like them to be listed in the program

2. Title of presentation

3. An abstract (not more than 175 words)

4. Your preference of presentation format (paper or poster)


Please respond to the call for papers by March 15th. We will announce the proposals that have been accepted (with a tentative presentation schedule) by April 1st.


Purdue University is located in West Lafayette, Indiana, about 60 miles northwest of Indianapolis International airport (approximately 1 hour's drive) and about 2 hours south of Chicago (O'Hare). Shuttle service to West Lafayette is available from both airports (every 2 hours until 10:30 pm from Indianapolis). We are also planning to organize a special shuttle service for conference attendees to and from Indianapolis International airport on Sunday, June 1st and Tuesday the 3rd.

The conference will be held on campus in Stewart Center. Adjacent to Stewart Center is the Memorial Union building where a reception will be held on the evening of Monday, June 2nd (the first day of the conference). The Union building also houses the Memorial Union Hotel where a block of rooms will be reserved for conference attendees. Details about registering for the conference and reserving rooms at the Union Hotel will be posted later on a conference website.
